Skin Cancer Surgery (resection with adjacent tissue transfer - head and neck) Purpose: To resect skin cancers of the head and neck region, followed by cosmetic closure of the resulting defect; May require laser resurfacing or dermabrasion in 6-8 weeks Operating Time: Resection - 30 minutes; cosmetic closure - 1 1/2 to 2 hours Anesthesia: Local, IV sedation or General Anesthesia Recovery Time: 3-7 days Location: the Center or RMH Discomfort: Moderate
