In order to achieve accreditation, the doctors and staff undergo an extensive onsite survey of facilities and services. A survey team composed of physicians and healthcare administrators evaluate all aspects of patient care. Favorable survey findings resulted in accreditation.

It conducts its accreditation program on a national basis and has accredited more than 1,240 ambulatory healthcare organizations, including single and multi-specialty group practices, ambulatory and office-based surgery centers, college and university health services, health maintenance organizations and other managed care systems, dental group practices, community health centers and occupational health centers.

The S-Lift Facial Procedure

A conventional facelift involves an incision around the ear, into the hairline and behind the ear, which sometimes results in some hair loss along with a slight scar behind the ear. The S-Lift has only one incision on either side of the face along the front of the ear and sometimes up into the hairline. There is virtually no hair loss. The excess skin is removed in front of the ear and the skin flap is redraped and meticulously repaired resulting in an imperceptible scar. Another benefit of this procedure is due to the gentle and limited dissection there is practically no risk of injury to the facial nerve which could result in weakness of muscles of facial expression.

Patients are able to see immediate improvement (loss of jowls, smooth jawline and neck), and are able to return to work in seven to ten days. In the majority of cases, there is very little bruising and minimal swelling, which is part of the normal healing process. Full recovery is a matter of days.

Questions and Answers Concerning the S-Lift

Q: How much is the consultation fee?
A: $75.00.

Q: Is the S-Lift a "mini-lift"?
A: No, the S-Lift is NOT a so-called "mini-lift", which involves mostly tightening of facial skin, with minimal manipulation of the deeper layer.

The S-Lift is a face-lift procedure involving elevation and repositioning of the SMAS (Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System), as well as redraping of the loose skin. There is no pull on the skin. There is minimal dissection of the skin. The S-Lift lasts for as long as a conventional facelift, usually around 10 years.

Q: Is the procedure painful?
A: No. Postoperatively, patients complain of only soreness and tightness.

Q: When do the Sutures come out?
A: Around 5 to 7 days. Most will dissolve out on their own.

Q: How soon before I can go back to work?
A: It is up to the patient, but due to the fact it is such a gentle procedure, bruising and swelling are usually minimal. Patients generally return to work within seven to ten days. Makeup is required and the incision in front of the ear will still be some what noticeable.

Q: Will I lose any hair?
A: No. This is one of the many advantages of the S-Lift. The incision is along the front line of the ear and is not carried back behind the ear.

Q: Is there any risk to the nerves in my face?
A: As the S-Lift involves minimal dissection of the face, the risk of permanent injury to facial nerve branches is very minimal.
